As part of my 2017 New Year Goals, I set a goal to revamp my skincare routine.

I determined my routine by using HoneyBadger logic (focussing on what works for my skin), undertaking a lot of research as to how different products interact with each other and ensuring I start my routine by using products with the thinnest consistency first and then moving up to the thickest consistency products as I work my way through the routine.

Listed below are details of my revamped morning routine and I shall be using all the skincare products in the order detailed for a minimum of 3 months to ensure I get the most out of them.

This way I can ensure a comprehensive product test and swap out the non-performing products and replace them with a better substitute in that category for 3 months to ensure that by the end of the year I have a consistent morning skincare routine and product regime to last me a life time, or until something hormonal happens to cause me to have to revisit the whole shebang.

Step 1 – Cleanser: Wash face with Omorovicza Foaming Cleanser

Step 2 – Exfoliation: Exfoliate with Biologique Recherché P50V toner

Step 3 – Acne Treatment: Apply Biologique Recherché Demopore Serum to acne prone areas.

Step 4 – Apply Brightening Serum: Drunk Elephant C Firma Day Serum

Step 5 – Apply Essence: Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence.

Step 6 – Apply Hydrating Serum: Clarins Hydraquench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase

Step 7 – Apply Face Oil: Vintners Daughter

Step 8 – Apply Moisturiser: Biologique Recherché Placenta Moisturiser

Step 9 – Apply Sun Protection: BodyShop Skin Defence Multi-Protection Essence SPF 50

It’s not even the end of January and I’ve got this sorted, feeling very smug. Though admittedly this is the easy part.
