Hello Friends, hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to a wondrous, less stressful 2017, we can only hope!
In the midst of all the wahala (for my non-Nigerian friends, this means trouble and strife) of 2016, a few products made my Holy Grail list. I decided I might as well create the Holy Grail awards for products in specific categories, as such this is my inaugural Honey Badger Life Holy Grail Awards and will feature the best products in the skincare, makeup, body care, haircare, scent and home categories according to moi!
I hope this becomes a thing and as I find more products I like in specific categories, I will keep a list, check it twice and use this as the basis for my future awards.
My awards follow my general morning to evening routine, so lets get started:

If there isn’t a sub-category or a particular category mentioned above, that would be because nothing in either impressed me this year. I also think it can be a bit disingenuous to include things for the sake of including them, so if I’m not impressed I’d rather have a blank category.
The above awards are based on products I have been reaching for more frequently over the course of the year because they were effective and gave me fantastic results. To ensure I broaden my outlook and expand my categories, I intend to use a great many products in 2017 to bring you my views of products which are either new to me or new to the market.
Hope you enjoyed the above and I am happy to provide further context to my selections if you send me specific questions.
Have a wondrous 2017!
